I love loose leaf teas, but found it hard to use them when I was running off to work in the morning with my travel mug. This mug changes that, and extends the life of my teas. It starts out strong in the morning, and as the day goes on I can enjoy the same tea leaves 3 or 4 times, maybe even more! It just gets weaker, so if you wanted to add a couple new leaves each time, it would be great. I was surprised the tea doesn't taste too bitter, sitting in the water for so long, but they recommend to use about 1/2 to 3/4 the amount of tea you would normally use, which helps.

There are a couple of flaws, though. Sometimes the tea leaves get stuck on the mesh strainer, and prevent tea from escaping. The slender shape looks nice, but it is almost too thin to use car cup holders effectively. and finally, it is kind of weird that where you drink from is exposed to everything even when the top is screwed on - I drop my mug on the floor in the car, and then when I go to drink from it wonder what kind of things might have touched it..

Aside from that, though, I am very happy with this mug. I am so glad someone realized the need for this product and created it. Now I just want the 2.0 version, where the flaws are considered and rectified...

Great quality and insulation ability. The lid could spill if tipped over, otherwise the thermos is wonderful. Materials used are very good and handle attachment to mug is secure. My previous Nissan thermos mug lasted me several years until I lost it. I expect this model to last even longer. This mug is easier to clean because there is no lip for dirt to trap. Cleaning it is very simple to perform and finish on the mug is very attractive.

This mug deserves 5 stars for its ability to keep liquids hot for a very long time. It is attractive and easy to clean. I was disappointed with my purchase, however, because:
1) The lid is really not leak-proof. It's even an exaggeration to call it leak-resistant. You must carry the mug fully upright if you don't want your coffee to leak out of the top (and onto your clothes, shoes, or the floor).
2) The drinking hole is too small. Because Thermos didn't provide a small opening somewhere else on the lid to mitigate the effects of the vacuum seal, you can only take tiny sips of your drink at any given time. It's virtually impossible to actually *drink* from it. I've resorted to pouring my coffee into a porcelain coffee cup, which defeats the whole purpose of this mug. I would have been better off just buying a true thermos.
3) It doesn't really hold 16 ounces of liquid, especially considering the leakiness of the lid.

This mug is the best mug I have ever used for keeping the coffee warm. It's still very warm after lunch. On one occasion I left my coffee in the car for the entire day and when I took a drink it was still warm!

But....The fatal flaw that this mug has it's top. It does not screw on. It has a slip on top secured by a rubber "O" ring. If the top is removed at any time after filling (with coffee) the top will not stay in place. It will actually pop off while it sits on your desk and not over time, almost immediately.

So if you drink one cup of coffee a day and don't need a spill proof mug, this is the best you will find.

I bought this product because I want to buy Made-In-USA even though is more expensive.

This product is made in:
1) the emblem was made in Mexico.
2) at the bottom of the mug there is a rubber base that says "MADE IN CHINA"

The only thing done in US was the packing and the design of the logo.

I was looking for a mid-size mug that would have enamel coating and wouldn't break during my back-country trips. This mug is made of a very thin (and I mean, very thin) metal. It might be considered as a benefit when item weight is at premium, but otherwise... Enamel layer could also be thicker...It doesn't worth it to send it back, but if a couple of extra bucks is not a problem I'd consider other options.

This type of item is often called a "tumbler" because if it tips over, it will not spill. This particular version is called a "traveler tumbler." Presumably, a "traveler" would "travel" well and a "tumbler" would "tumble" well. This is not the case with the Senja. Don't purchase this item thinking you can put it in a lunch box (let alone a cup holder in a bumpy car). At the slightest tilt, your beverage will spill all over the place. The swivel mouth cover does not close, it just lightly covers the mouth hole. This causes hot and cold air to escape and leads to major spills. You get hot drinks that don't stay hot and cold drinks that don't stay cold. You also get drinks that can't stay even stay in a mug. Soooooo dissappointing.

I purchased this tumbler for use during my daily work commute. I loved the color, size, and capacity The insulation is great but THE CUP LEAKS when it is tipped over. Thisw as definetly a dissapointment.

My girlfriend has a Starbucks travel mug that I've used once or
twice and I was amazed how long it kept coffee, I'm not gonna say
as hot as when I poured it, but almost, and for the two hours it
took me to drink it and they claim six hrs. She's had it for about
10 yrs.

Ever since I've been looking for something at least close. I'm afraid
they don't even make them anymore. This item was a letdown, lukewarm
coffee in 20 minutes after pour.
